Materials, resources provided

Yes, we provide detailed materials and resources tailored to specific key stages and curriculum topics. Our workshops are designed to align directly with the National Curriculum, ensuring they complement and enhance classroom learning. For example:
- Key Stage Links: Each workshop is carefully crafted to address relevant key stage objectives and curriculum areas, such as Science (Forces, States of Matter), STEM, and cross-curricular topics like Growth Mindset and Health & Fitness.
- Curriculum Alignment: Topics are mapped to ensure a clear connection between hands-on activities and learning outcomes, making it easy for teachers to see how the workshop fits within their teaching plans.
Who was involved in developing these resources?
Our resources have been developed collaboratively by a team of experienced educators, subject specialists, and curriculum experts. By drawing on their expertise, we ensure our workshops are engaging, age-appropriate, and aligned with educational standards.
Can you provide samples to teachers before they visit?
Absolutely! We offer sample materials, including lesson plans, activity instructions, and risk assessments, for teachers to review ahead of time. These samples allow teachers to prepare students and integrate the workshop seamlessly into their teaching.
Our goal is to support educators with high-quality, curriculum-aligned resources that inspire and enrich students’ learning experiences.
Photography, filming & audio restrictions

We encourage schools, participants, and staff to take photos and videos during our workshops and share them on their social platforms. This helps highlight the excitement and learning that take place during our sessions! However, we ask that the following guidelines be observed:
- School Media Policies: Any photography, filming, or sharing must comply with the participating school’s media consent policies to ensure the privacy and safety of all students.
- Attribution: If sharing content publicly, we kindly ask that our organization, Spark2, is credited as the workshop provider.
- Copyright Restrictions: While we welcome the documentation of workshop events, any materials, resources, or proprietary content provided as part of the session (e.g., worksheets, digital content) are protected under copyright and cannot be reproduced, distributed, or used outside the agreed workshop context without prior permission.
