What are our school workshops like?
Bring a Topic Takeover Day to your school or community group and your learners will be immersed in history with an amazing and engaging day of role play, costumed characters, interactive activities, and team games. We offer three different Topic Takeover options, each supporting a Key Stage 1 or 2 curriculum topic, and each designed to bring the topic to life in a truly unforgettable way.
This full-day activity brings the National Emergency Services Museum experience and expertise directly into schools - anywhere in the country. It is delivered in partnership with historical re-enactment group The Past Presents - a company with vast experience in providing immersive, authentic experiences for students.
From walking in the footsteps of a World War II evacuee to learning about our emergency services heroes, these sessions provide school groups with a hands-on, engaging, and jam-packed way to learn about the past through a glorious mix of strategy and controlled chaos!
