What we offer on a school trip
Green’s Windmill is a restored 19th Century tower mill, once home to the mathematical physicist George Green. Working again since 1985, climb the windmill and see how our sails turn grain into flour. In the science Centre, discover the remarkable story of George Green, and experiment with the things that fascinated him, such as light, electricity and magnetism. During your visit, explore the award-winning community garden, much like a typical garden from Green’s Day. There’s something for all the family! Entry is FREE.
