ZSL have a range of school visit options to suit your requirements, whether you’re looking for a self-guided trip to take your students on a journey around Whipsnade Zoo or looking to add an educational curriculum linked session to build on your topic studied in the classroom. Self-guided entry is available for groups of all sizes. Education sessions can accommodate groups of up to 35.

If you would like to book an education session then please call 0344 967 0831, lines are open every day from 8.30am to 5pm. Should you simply wish to book entry to the zoo, then you can book or reserve online.

ZSL Whipsnade Zoo Entry Costs

*Higher Education students are those students at Level 5 and above. 

Rates are available Monday - Friday only for UK and international schools. However, for special requests please contact Supporter Services.

First Aid Information

At Whipsnade Zoo the first aid and lost child point is the First Aid post at the Visitor Centre. If anyone goes missing, please alert a staff member.

Opening Hours & Information

ZSL Whipsnade  Zoo is open from 10am every day of the year (except Christmas Day) with seasonal closing times.
