Children who get the opportunity to learn outdoors regularly are more curious, self-directed and likely to stay with the task longer. Spending time in nature can additionally help improve moods and increase happiness encouraging children to appreciate nature and grow up wanting to protect the environment around them. 

Real-Life Examples

During the programme pupils will be exploring the ecological surroundings of the Welsh landscape where they will examine real-life gravitational forces in caves, forests and quarries. A brilliant way to bring gravity and geography to life rather through technology that is fun, engaging and memorable.

Group Sizes Catered For

Min 20+ and up to 250 depending on the site and adventures you are participating in.

Materials, Resources & Information Provided

We have linked to the curriculum and key stage 2 & 3. We can provide samples and we also offer pre, during and post lesson support / activities.

Photography, Filming & Audio Restrictions

Photography, filming and audio are all authorized. 

Risk Assessment Details

We provide activity and site risk assessments. This can be requested if required.

Clothing Requirements

What to wear at Zip World

For all our adventures:

• Tie long hair back.
• Remove all jewellery and scarves. Head scarves with loose ends are also not permitted.
• Wear trainers or walking boots - open toe shoes, flip flops, sandals or similar footwear are not permitted.
• Wear sensible trousers - skirts are not recommended.
• As you will be participating in physical activity, we cannot accept liability for any damage to any items of clothing, footwear etc.
• Wrap up warm as most activities will be outdoors - wear long sleeves and trousers.

First Aid Information

We have staff who are first aid trained on all sites and we have multiple stations with FA Kits on site.

Accessibility & Disabled Facilities

We have an accessibility team who can work with each individual’s needs. Depending on what the individual needs are, we can do specific assessments prior to a visit.

Opening Hours & Information

7 Days a week, 9am-5pm but this can vary seasonally. For large groups, we can accommodate on a case by case basis.
