Refugee Workshops for Schools

Refugee educational workshops provide a fantastic interactive learning experience, pupils will learn and cover a variety of topics that can be interlinked to the national curriculum that could relate to refugee experiences through history up to the present day. Some key areas for learning would identify the causes and consequences of the refugee crisis worldwide. They would learn about key factors that lead individuals and families to flee their homes, such as war, religious persecution, political/cultural change in society or a natural disaster within that geographical location and environment.

These workshops might cover rights and international law including legal framework that protects the rights of refugee’s laid out in the United Nations Convention which identify the rights and protections afforded to refugees. These workshops can be carried out by experienced professionals with skills in Humanitarian Aid.

Please find below workshop services (outreach) that may cover this specific topic/field for your school students to experience.
