What we offer on our adventure activity school trips
Plas Menai is based on the stunning Menai Strait in North Wales and is the National Outdoor Centre for Wales.
The centre offers a wide range of activities and course for all ages 8 and over including sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, paddleboarding, powerboating, yachting, climbing, mountain biking, high ropes, orienteering, den building, bush craft, swimming and more.
There are a range of residential options available on site including self catered houses, bunkhouse style accommodation and en-suite rooms within the centre building. We have a swimming pool, cafe, dining room, lounge and bar available to guests. It is a brilliant location for exploring all that North Wales has to offer and taking advantage of the adventurous activities on site.

What adventure activities are included for schools
Sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, paddleboarding, powerboating, mountain biking, den building, bushcraft, climbing, swimming, high ropes, archery, team building, orienteering and more.

Photography, Filming & Audio Restrictions
There are no restrictions on schools / groups photographing the centre and grounds.
Risk Assessments
Every aspect of the site is risk assessed and reviewed annually.
Pricing
Pricing varies as each trip is bespoke, however, a price for an overnight stay, minus activity for one child would – 1 overnight packed lunch – £52.90 + VAT 1 overnight Packed lunch – packed lunch with 2 full days activity – £146.40 + VAT
One free staff space is offered for every 15 participants.

There is a first aid station on site and all instructional staff are trained first aiders.

Clothing requirements
A simple packing list of all that is required is sent out in advance, however, any technical kit and all safety kit is provided.
