Working with you to plan your trip and starting with the end in mind, we put your learning aims and objectives at the forefront of your trip or residential.
All our residentials and trips are created to link with the curriculum and your school ethos. No school trips are the same. We are flexible in our approach and delivery, making it easy for you when planning your trip.

Our staff are our biggest asset and we choose them very carefully. Many have been working with us for a number of years. They are fun, outgoing, professionally qualified people who are highly skilled experienced and passionate about working with young people in the outdoors. All our trips are high adventure so we ensure our staff are highly skilled, keeping everyone safe whilst facilitating high learning opportunities.

We offer real adventure in wilderness environments. Based in the heart of the Lake District, Path to Adventure offers tailored learning experiences, residentials and day trips that inspire and motivate young people, transforming behaviors that will help them build a promising future.
Accommodation:
After a busy day on the hill, head back to your accommodation, sit down, relax and enjoy a well-earned brew and hearty home-cooked meal. Working with the YHA as trade partners and other private accommodations, we offer quality affordable accommodation in dramatic Lake District locations. Historic buildings set in their own grounds with fabulous facilities, offering everything you could possibly want for a cozy stay away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
We can arrange for you to have sole use of an accommodation or an entire floor to yourselves allowing for an easy and relaxing stay.

All the accommodations we use are well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
They are set within their own grounds with beautiful outside spaces that the group can use in their free time to play or relax.
Accreditations
Path to Adventure has a 3-year AALA license which gives assurance that good safety management practice is being followed so that young people can have opportunities to experience exciting and stimulating activities outdoors while not being exposed to avoidable risks

We are proud trade partners with the YHA Hostel and have great relationships with many private accommodation providers, offering the best value accommodation in amazing locations, private same-sex dormitories and full board meal plans.
The facilities of all our venues include everything needed for a fantastic and comfortable stay. All accommodations offer group dining, social areas and outside spaces for play and relaxation.

Risk Assessment
All our activities are risk assessed, licensed through HSE and we are fully insured. All accommodations have their own individual risk assessments. Documents will be shared with the school upon booking
Photography, Filming & Audio Restrictions?
Snap away – there are no copywrite restrictions if staff wish to take photos.
If consent is provided, we are more than happy to take photos of the adventures and share it with the school afterward, free of charge.

Pricing
Various residential packages available from £45 per person per day full board.
We offer a FREE teachers place for every 10 students.
First Aid
All our instructors have current First Aid Training and carry comprehensive first aid kits. Outside of activity times you may need to provide first aid cover – some venues have first aiders on site.

The facilities of all our venues include everything needed for a fantastic and comfortable stay, facilities vary by venue. If there is something specific you are looking for, we will do our best to source this for you and offer suitable options.

Location Information
All our accommodation locations are situated within beautiful places in the Lake District National Park. Surrounded by hills and mountains there are many local walks straight from the accommodation. Some are situated within easy walking distance of villages and others that are more remote are a short drive away. All our activities are a short walk or drive from the accommodation locations.
