Spring time is when the weather becomes warmer, leaves and plants start to grow again and flowers appear.
Kentwell Hall’s gardens and grounds are managed organically, providing food and homes for bees, birds, butterflies and many other creatures. It is a known fact that on organic premises, wildlife is 50% more abundant.
You will also have the opportunity to meet our Miniature Shetland Ponies and rare breed Poitou donkey, see the pigs and variety of traditional hens.
NOTE: Kentwell’s flock of Rare Breed Norfolk Horn Sheep will start lambing from the 7 March when we give information talks on the history of the breed and how we look after them, before, during and after lambing.
Time spent outdoor provides children the opportunity to learn, grow their imagination and increase in confidence as they roam and explore without limitations. Recommended visit time 3 hours.
