The search for the UK’s most creative young adventurer is back by popular demand…
Back for its third year, Go Ape (www.goape.co.uk) are celebrating wonderful imaginations by encouraging all young adventurers aged between 4 and 12, to get creative both in and out of the of the classroom.
This year, Go Ape have adapted the competition to make it accessible to a larger audience, children can now enter via two creatives; drawing or writing. Partnering with Hachette Publishers and Micro-Scooters, Go Ape are offering a range of great prizes not only for the overall category winner but for their whole class too, making the winning child a true class hero!
An experience at Go Ape is all about living life adventurously, re-connecting with one another and helping to develop essential life skills and memories that last a lifetime. To enter the 2019 competition young adventurers will simply need to write 100-500 words or draw a picture or story board of an adventure. These tales can be completely made up or a real account of an exhilarating escapade – if it’s fictional, then imaginations can run wild!
Georgina Cox, Schools Marketing Executive at Go Ape said;
“We are so delighted to be running our creative competition for a third year. Pupils and teachers love getting involved in bringing some adventure and challenge into the classroom. All of our activities celebrate and embrace challenging ourselves, trying new things and enjoying the great outdoors. The adventure story competition is a fantastic way to get children writing and being creative as well as sharing their memories / imaginative experiences with one another. This year the focus is on getting entire classes involved to share with us their stories and be in with the chance of winning books for all the class as well as a trip to Go Ape for everyone, including a coach, giving some children the chance to take part in an activity that may not have been available to them before.”
There will be two overall winners awarded to two age categories, 4 – 7 years and 8 -12-year-old.
The prizes for the winners include:
• A school trip to Go Ape for the class, plus coach travel
