Mendip Basecamp is an award-winning campsite based at Mendip Activity Centre in Somerset. They host school activity residentials during term time and are open to families throughout the holidays.
For nearly 40 years, Mendip Adventure has partnered with schools to deliver unforgettable outdoor learning experiences. In this time, they’ve welcomed thousands of students and watched as they discover courage, build resilience, and light up with pride after stepping outside their comfort zones.
None of it happens without teachers! As a thank you, the team at Mendip Basecamp and Mendip Activity Centre are inviting all teachers to stay at Mendip Basecamp for free this summer. It is also a great opportunity to recharge- and check out Mendip’s brilliant facilities and activity centre. It’s available for qualified teachers currently employed in state or independent schools and colleges in England or Wales.
