What makes us a great group accommodation choice for a school trip or educational visit
Why Do Our Current Customers Choose Naturesbase?
Exclusive, Personalised Attention
At Naturesbase, we proudly distinguish ourselves by accepting only one school at a time. This exclusive approach enables us to dedicate all our resources and attention to your group, ensuring that your time with us is both unique and memorable. As part of our service, we will visit your school to assist in planning the trip, meet with parents and children, and answer any questions they may have
Immersive Educational Experience
Education at Naturesbase extends beyond structured activities. The same tutor is with you 12 hours a day enabling visiting schools to actively participate in everyday tasks, from collecting eggs and feeding the chickens to emptying the compost bucket before we start the formal activities. This hands-on involvement fosters a deeper connection to the environment and reinforces the lessons learned during their stay.
Home-Cooked, Nutritious Meals
We believe that good nutrition is the cornerstone of a great residential experience. Rather than a canteen, we have a dining room where children serve as waiters for the group. This redesigned mealtime experience promotes togetherness and conversation, creating a family-like atmosphere where everyone can bond over delicious, home-cooked meals.
Returning teachers eagerly anticipate the homemade chocolate brownies and the special pizza evenings, where children cook their pizzas in our earth oven.
