Maritime Museum On Tour

Maritime Museum is heading on tour bringing some of the history, objects, and stories from the museum straight to you. In our schools sessions, students will engage with historical sources, participate in storytelling and craftivism.

Workshops can be booked for schools in the Liverpool city region or at one of our Liverpool learning bases. These include Wirral Met College, Museum of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University (L1 9DE).

Workshops are tailored to Key Stage groups, so choose from Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 to find something to suit your class. Our team are experienced in delivering schools programmes to a wide-range of children and young people.

With tie-in curriculum links to History, English spoken language and Fundamental British Values as part of SMSC (spiritual, moral, social and cultural development), the workshops are a good way to teach the story of the Titanic in an interesting and age-appropriate way.

We also have defined learning outcomes in developing knowledge and understanding, skills, attitudes, creativity, behaviour and progression.

Early Years Foundation Stage & Key Stage 1 – £275 including VAT for up to two classes (one 50 minute workshop per class), £375 including VAT for three form entry schools (one 50 minute workshop per class)

Key Stage 2 – £275 including VAT for up to two classes (one 60 minute workshop per class), £375 including VAT for three form entry schools (one 60 minute workshop per class)
