Photography, filming & audio restrictions


Photography and filming may occur at events for use on our website and/or promotional material. Please be aware by entering the site, you are giving consent to the use of your image or voice, waiving any right to inspect or approve the photo, video or audio recording of you or any claims for invasion of privacy or for any fees.
We want you to take as many photos and shoot as much video as you like while visiting Longleat. However, there are restrictions to ensure we are all kept safe.
The House and its contents are historically significant and therefore no flash may be used when taking pictures. Our guides will advise if any images cannot be taken due to licensing requirements.
The use of tripods in the House is prohibited without permission. Please ask when you visit.
The use of drones is not permitted by visitors under any circumstances due to the potential risk to the historic site, our animals and to people.
Photographs must be for personal use only; personal use permission doesn’t include selling or distributing of images in any way for publication either electronically or print.
Private use
- We welcome non-commercial photography and filming by visitors. Visitors are encouraged to share their images on social media and to tag Longleat and its event pages and profiles as appropriate.
- Usual conditions of entry apply but the photographer has the additional responsibility of gaining the permission of any person captured in an image/film and in the case of an under-18 the permission of the parent/guardian.

Please note, Longleat is currently a cash free site, we are only able to accept card payments across the park including in our gift shops, restaurants and animal feeding activities.

- One free adult for every three paying 3-4 year olds
- One free adult for every six paying 5+ year olds

**All the prices given are inclusive of VAT, they are only valid for pre-booked and pre-paid educational groups. These rates are also available to groups of 12+ home educators on term time weekdays only if come together and remain as a group for the day. If your group is smaller than this please get in touch and we can let you know alternative rates (standard), that you can book on the website or do please take a look at our upcoming Home Education Focus Days (for September, November and December).

Accessibility & disabled facilities


- Accessible toilets are provided at the entrance to the Safari Drive-Through, in the Safari Drive-Through (close to the Watering Hole at African Village), off the Main Square near The Sweet Shop, close to the Jungle Cruise, and in the The Chameleon Tree Restaurant and Coffee House.
- Changing facilities with adjustable changing bench and hoist are available in the main accessible toilets off the Main Square near The Sweet Shop.
- Please note that our accessible toilets can only be accessed with a radar key. You are welcome to bring your own radar key or you can request one from Guest Services in Main Square.
