Materials, Resources & Keystage Information
Kingswood, in partnership with Enrich Education, provide visitors with pre- and post-trip activity packs. These include a selection of activities that support PE, English, Maths, Science and Geography curricula, taken from the Enrich School Orienteering and Outdoor Learning Digital Hub. Each activity links with one of the six Kingswood curriculum categories (Challenge, Play, Explore, Discover, Social, Reflect). All activities include a teacher’s plan and children’s resource sheets where required.
In addition, Kingswood offers schools a unique ‘confidence tracker’ tool, created in partnership with insight specialists, Spike, and with counsel from Dr Alice Jones Bartoli and Professor Justin Dillon, to enable them to evidence and evaluate the success of a trip.

Room Sizes and Facilities
We have three types of accommodation, depending on your requirements and availability.
The Adventure Barns (138 beds):
We have two Adventure Barns, each split in to 6 rooms with ensuite facilities. Each room sleeps between 8-10. These are perfect for KS1/2 groups and easy for teachers to supervise.
The Atlantic Lodges (112 beds):
Our Atlantic Lodges are arranged over 10 bunk rooms, ranging from 3-16 beds. Young people love the 3 tier bunk beds, and teachers love the self-contained teachers block with a kitchenette and bathroom.
The Lodges share a large toilet/shower block.
The Lakeside Cabins (36 beds):
As the name suggests, these overlook our kayaking lake. Each cabin sleeps 12 and has a toilet/shower room. These are perfect for a small school group.
The Octocabins (36 beds + 8 teacher spaces):
This is our newest accommodation. Sleeping 12 per cabin, these are spacious and perfect for a small school group. Teachers have their own cabin sleeping 8 across two rooms. Washing/toilet facilities are in the main shower block.
