This centre is surrounded by the Jurassic coastline, a designated site of special scientific interest, being the most important area of Europe for dinosaur fossils. This Kingswood centre is perfect for environmental field studies and the classrooms here are spacious and well-equipped.

Kingswood, in partnership with Enrich Education, provide visitors with pre- and post-trip activity packs. These include a selection of activities that support PE, English, Maths, Science and Geography curricula, taken from the Enrich School Orienteering and Outdoor Learning Digital Hub. Each activity links with one of the six Kingswood curriculum categories (Challenge, Play, Explore, Discover, Social, Reflect). All activities include a teacher’s plan and children’s resource sheets where required.
In addition, Kingswood offers schools a unique ‘confidence tracker’ tool, created in partnership with insight specialists, Spike, and with counsel from Dr Alice Jones Bartoli and Professor Justin Dillon, to enable them to evidence and evaluate the success of a trip.

There is always a fully qualified first aider on site for any medical emergencies.

An extensive ropes park at this Kingswood centre includes a triple zipwire and direct beach access for water sports activities such as raft building, bodyboarding and canoeing. A cinema and sports hall provide options for indoor entertainment when needed.
Choose from dormitory accommodation or adventure lodges with their own social yurt spaces. Party leader accommodation has been recently refurbished along with lounges to relax in at the end of a busy day!
