What we offer on a school trip
Kingswood offers a complete educational and adventure activity programme for young people across the UK and around the world; an experience that aids personal development, teaches key life-skills and helps build confidence and self-belief.
With stimulating environments, state of the-art facilities and highly qualified instructors, Kingswood works with you to go beyond classroom teaching and textbook theory.
Dearne Valley was formerly the Earth Centre, one of the millennium commission projects. It opened its doors as a Kingswood Centre in 2012, following a multi-million pound investment programme. It is now the most environmentally sustainable of Kingswood’s Centres and has one of Europe’s largest solar panels as well as its own on-site recycling plant.
Kingswood will provide the perfect blend of excitement, creative learning and adventure at Dearne Valley to meet your needs and requirements.

Each activity links with one of the six Kingswood curriculum categories (Challenge, Play, Explore, Discover, Social, Reflect). All activities include a teacher’s plan and children’s resource sheets where required.
