What we offer on a school trip
Fireground, located in Rochdale, is the perfect place for young people to explore the world of firefighting. Our artefact and exhibit-based Education Programme provides educational groups the opportunity to learn in a unique setting.
Having welcomed hundreds of schools in the past as the Greater Manchester Fire Service Museum, our new facilities, now housed in Rochdale’s landmark 1930s fire station, are bigger and better than ever.
What makes us a great choice for education
As well as having a dedicated Learning and Communities Officer, our education service now has a bright, engaging, and well-equipped Education Suite which is ready to welcome school groups.
We have brand new static and interactive displays, and realistic recreations offer an exciting and informative visit for your group.
