A one-day Maths extravaganza aimed at KS3 students where they can see Maths being used in real life situations at the Paultons Park. Enjoy a host of 30-minute complimentary workshops, free activity trail, extra keeper talks and more…all included in your great School Trip rates!
Workshops will explore using the Speed, Distance & Time formula to time rides and calculate speeds before comparing their findings to find which has travels the fastest. As well as looking at Venn Diagrams to sort animals, rides and outlets at the park and then giving probabilities to answer challenges; and also explore real park data to make conclusions on how it would benefit our marketing strategy.
Join us and design your own Maths day with pre-bookable workshops, extra talks and activity trails included in the price. Workshops are subject to availability and schools will receive their personalised timetable before the event. Activity booklets will be provided for each student and are available for collection on the day.
