What makes us a great choice?

York has 2000 years of history meaning we cover all eras and so we welcome pupils across all the key stages. The tour enhances what is taught in the classroom by giving students the opportunity to actually see the history in front of them and experience the historic surroundings.

For example, you will see a Roman wall, the Viking influence in the city, a castle originally built by William the Conqueror, Dick Turpins grave and lots of other amazing sights.

We endeavor to stir students imagination and help them get a real feel of what it was like to live in York in times past while having the excitement of riding on an open top bus.

Following our super trips to York the week before last, I wanted to write and thank you for all your assistance with the Bus Tours and to ask if we can book again for next year! Our guide was brilliant - please pass on. I was there on all 4 tours and he was just excellent.

Last March, we booked an open top bus for a guided tour of York. The group enjoyed it very much.
Since we'll be back in York next March, we'd like to book it again. This year's group will be 21 15-year-olds + 2 teachers.
