What we offer
Take secondary pupils mountain biking in Bryntysilio, one of the only centres in the UK to hold the Mountain Bike Leadership Award, approved by British Cycling. Our highly skilled staff will take your group on one of the finest routes in Europe!
The adventure of canoeing through the canals of North Wales will give pupils a unique insight into British history that extends pupil's chronological knowledge, in particular that of the industrial revolution.

Wide Horizons believe that every child should have access to adventure as part of their education and development. We work with schools across the country to develop high quality Adventure Learning Experiences for almost 48,000 children and our programmes are linked to the national curriculum to make the most of each pupil’s visit. Our outdoor learning activities are specifically designed to build self-esteem and personal qualities such as resilience, confidence, communication skills and well-being.

Risk Assessment Details
We have risk assessments for activities, buildings, grounds, vehicles, safeguarding etc.
Each group has a fire drill on arrival day. Centre Ops staff complete regular planned fire checks and a recording system is in place. The Centre has a three-yearly Fire Audit conducted by North Wales Fire Authority.
We have a scale of prices based on Edubase – schools with Free School Meal %

First Aid Information
All Adventure Learning staff are First Aid qualified
We have a dining room, a lounge, a conservatory, classrooms, a gift shop, staff only internet available in visiting staff lounge.

We have rough terrain wheelchairs, ground floor dormitories with direct access to landscaped grounds, ramps, disabled showers and toilets
