Our Paddlesports Academy staff run a range of BCU and RYA coaching courses for activity leaders up to RYA Seamanship and BCU 4 Star Sea, 3 Star White Water, UKCC Level 2 Coach Award, Moderate Water Endorsement and Foundation Modules.
What makes us a great choice?
WOEC has been providing high quality learning in the outdoors for nearly fifty years. All our programmes of activities are created in partnership with you to specifically meet the needs of your group.
The centre is located close to Dorset's World Heritage Jurassic Coast with easy access to a range of exciting venues. Activities can take place in the sheltered waters of Weymouth Bay and Portland Harbour, on the cliffs and coastline of Portland or in the surrounding countryside.
For younger or less experienced groups, or for when the weather is poor, we are able to offer numerous on-site activities.
Accreditation and Awards
We have an AALA license and are an RYA training centre. Our instructors are BCU accredited. The Centre is run by Dorset County Council.
What is typically included?
We offer bespoke programmes including activities such as: sailing, kayaking, canoeing, climbing, abseiling, rock hopping, coasteering, orienteering, archery, team challenge and forest adventure.
