What makes us a great choice for education?
Bring the curriculum to life with a movie; literature, languages and history can come to life on the big screen.
The theatre style seating and varied screen sizes also make Cineworld an ideal venue for presentations and award ceremonies.
What is typically included on our school trips?
As a cinema, the main reason for visiting us is to watch a movie.
To give the trip more of an educational twist you could speak to your local cinema about bringing back an old classic (Oliver Twist, A Christmas Carol), or even a documentary (An Inconvenient Truth, March of the Penguins).
Materials, Resources & Information Provided
We can provide film synopses, lists of upcoming releases, and will have worksheets/handouts from specific films throughout the year; please email us if you have a specific request: conferencing@cineworld.co.uk
Photography, Filming & Audio Restrictions
In the foyer/corridors this is fine. In the screens this is not allowed.
Risk Assessment Details
We have generic risk assessments for managing large groups during cinema visits; and the cinemas have site specific risk assessments which cover any unusual circumstances they may have in their building.
We also have public liability insurance certificates.
Copies of any of these documents can be provided at our cinemas or by emailing: conferencing@cineworld.co.uk
Education Officer Information
Each cinema has a manager who will liaise with you, to arrange your booking. Either ask at the cinema or fill in an enquiry on our website: www.cineworld.co.uk/conferencing, and we will contact you to discuss your booking.
