What we offer on a school trip
We provide schools from across Berkshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire and beyond, with highly interactive day visits for all ages.We provide schools from across Berkshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire and beyond, with highly interactive day visits for all ages.
For history, children are immersed in the past and when outdoors they are experiencing the natural beauty of our wild environment. Whether exploring the Grade 1 Tudor Manor House and finding priest holes, flogging Boudicca in the Celtic Roundhouse or curing a cursed field as a Saxon, all our activities use the unique resources at our disposal to inspire and engage your group.
Through outdoor learning we offer Science Technology Engineering and Maths (STEM) activities linked to both primary and secondary curriculums. We also deliver Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning (SEALs) programmes aimed at developing personal qualities like self-esteem, empathy, friendship and tenacity. Groups also have the opportunity to use the site for forest skills (like Forest Schools) incorporating activities such as fire lighting and shelter building.
