What we offer on a school trip
The Parks Trust Outdoor Learning Team provides a wide range of fun, engaging and inspirational activities to help young people learn about the wildlife, the environment and the parks. We also design sessions to enable learners to develop their team working, independent learning and enquiry skills. Whether you are looking for a curriculum-based activity, a session to help forge a team, or simply want a fun environmentally-linked session outdoors, we are sure we can meet the needs of your learners.
To enable schools and community groups in Milton Keynes to access us, we offer sessions in your local Parks Trust parkland. Most schools should be able to walk to a park, keeping costs down. The Parks Trust also runs two education centres - Howe Park Wood and Linford Lakes Nature Reserve where learners can access learning resources (and toilets!).
Sessions can cater for EYFS, Key Stages 1-5, after school groups and further education as required. A wide range of activities can be included, depending on the needs of the group.
