What makes us a great choice?

With magnificent gardens, playground, zoo and beautiful and historic country house, Sewerby Hall and gardens is a unique educational and learning venue. Pupils can relax and learn at the same time, work hard and play hard all in the same visit. There is something linked to every national curriculum area, particularly the Arts and STEM subjects. Our working Edwardian kitchen gives children an opportunity to experience cooking on a coal fired range, no other venue in the region offers this.
