What we offer
Sealyham Mansion is situated in the heart of Pembrokeshire. We are mid way between the County Town of Haverfordwest, and Fishguard on the coast.
The estate consists of 100 acres of secluded woodland and the river Anghof, a tributary of the Western Cleddau, runs through the grounds. Sealyham borders the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, and is just a short distance from some of the most stunning and interesting beaches and coastline in Britain.
As well as the geographical and historical interest of the area, it is also an ideal venue for watersports, climbing and a whole range of outdoor activities.
What makes us a great choice?
Experienced and qualified instructors provide first class tuition in a wide range of activities such as coasteering, rock climbing, surfing, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, archery, high and low ropes courses etc. As well as experiencing the thrills of new activities, young people are encouraged to learn about and appreciate the environment.
If required we can incorporate visits to historical sites such as St. David's Cathedral and Pembroke Castle to the programme. Worksheets are also available for seashore and environmental studies in a choice of locations.
Many National Curriculum areas are covered by our courses including geography, history, science, citizenship, PE and PSE. Key life skills will be developed that will remain with students for a lifetime.
We also run DofE training and assessment in Canoeing, Walking and Mountain Biking - we have qualified trainers, supervisors and assessors.
Group Sizes Catered For
We can cater for up to 100 students plus group leaders. Accommodation is provided in separate boys and girls wings, in dormitories of between 6 and 15 beds. There are toilet and shower blocks in each wing. Adults are accommodated in twin or single rooms adjacent to the student dormitories. Most staff bedrooms have en-suite facilities.
Materials, Resources & Information Provided
A comprehensive Risk Assessment document is available to teachers. This has been developed by our team of highly qualified and respected outdoor specialists and has been approved by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority. We offer site visits to teachers, and will also visit schools at any stage of an enquiry or booking to speak to teachers, students and parents.
This gives both teachers and parents the opportunity to speak to us directly about any concerns they may have, before making a financial commitment.
Our Code of Practice has been developed so that all party leaders are aware of our expectations and our commitment to providing a first class service to our customers.
An Information Booklet provides a full list of Instructional staff, sample menus, suggested kit list and a brief history of Sealyham.
We ask parents/guardians to sign a form confirming their willingness for their child to participate in activities, and detailing any medical information or special dietary requirements.
Health and Safety Documentation is also available for inspection.
Photography, Filming & Audio Restrictions
There are no Company restrictions on photography, and we are happy for students to make a photographic or video record of their visit here.

Education Officer Information
All programme discussions take place between party leaders and either Alec Williams -Chief Instructor, or Jenny Dawson - Operations Manager.
Prices vary depending on length of stay, time of year and programme requirements. Group prices apply for a minimum of 8 people. We offer one free adult place for each 10 students, although this can be flexible if additional support staff are needed for students with special needs.
All specialist and safety equipment is supplied. We supply a suggested kit list and the emphasis is on old and warm clothing. Evening activities can be wet and muddy so old trousers, jumpers and trainers are preferable.

All instructional and duty staff hold first aid certificates and carry first aid kits. We will require medical information on all participants on arrival. Any medication to be administered will be the responsibility of the party leader.
Our dining room caters for all guests in one sitting. Packed lunches are provided and are eaten either in the dining room or outside if the weather permits.
We have a dedicated visiting staff lounge. This is adjacent to the games room and students lounge where the students will spend any free time they have. The lounge and dining room can be used as classrooms in the evening for diary writing, or meeting for quiet time before bed.
Duty staff remain on site all night and are available to deal with any domestic or medical problems which may arise.
We also have a small tuck shop which sells sweets, drinks and souvenirs. This can be opened in the evenings at the request of visiting groups. Sealyham T-shirts and sweat shirts are available for purchase and can be printed with your school logo if organized in advance.
