What we offer

We offer a wide range of Adventurous activities to support all stages of the National Curriciulum. Activities on offer include: High ropes, Archery, Air Rifles, Water Zorbing, Tunnelling, Teambuilding Games, Orienteering, Pond dipping and Bushcraft.

Based at the Secret Nuclear Bunker, we are also able to provide insight into the three lives of the Bunker, from just after WWII to it's life as the home of national government in the event of a Nuclear War with Russia.

What makes us a great choice?

We can tailor a full or half day package to suit your needs. Our standard ropes course session fits nicely into a school day a real consideration with Primary School ages where parents may have other children to collect from the school.

Ropes course safety systems were reclassified in 2015 and in 2016 we reinvested in our safety system, installing a new Type E (the highest classification) safety system. This is a continuous belay system, where participants are permanently attached to the safety cable, so teachers can be confident that students are safe from falls while participating.

What is typically included?

Our range of activities underpins many parts of the National Curriculum.
Aside from the personal development offered by our challenging ropes courses, we can support subjects such as Geography, History and Travel and Tourism.

Schools that use us currently often visit us for the following reasons:

Year 6 Leavers trips,

Reward and Recognition for attendance or behaviour.

As an alternative to Residential trips (for those not going away with the rest of the year group).

Pupil enhancement days

Teambuilding for newly appointed Prefects, House Captains etc.

Extra curricular activities for combined cadet forces.

Teambuilding for new 6th form students/further education colleges.

Teambuilding (with meeting and catering facilities if required) for academic away days or ancilliary staff training.

Group Sizes Catered For

Our maximum group size on the ropes course is 72 participants in any one session. We can accommodate larger groups by adding in other activities or staggering group arrivals.

Photography, Filming & Audio Restrictions

Children are welcome to take photos, video or audio for their own personal use in the course of their coursework.

Risk Assessment Details

Our standard ropes courses are available and can be sent on request. Pre visit inspections are welcome. We are approved Adventurous Activity Providers, registered with many local Councils, reducing the amount of work involved in organizing the trip.

Just a quick email to say thank you for producing such an excellent enhancement day for us yesterday. The range and quality of the activities that you put on for us were fantastic, as well as how accommodating you were to our late arrival!

I've had an enormous amount of positive feedback from staff, boys and parents about how much everyone got out of the trip.

Mr W, Hertfordshire.
