What makes us a great choice for education?
ROKT Activity Centre is perfect for one off school trips or ongoing course provision. The beauty of the facility is that there is so much to do all under one roof.
We can provide climbing related taster sessions where children have the opportunity to try bouldering, rope climbing, abseiling and indoor caving. We can incorporate team building activities to suit. With advanced booking and weather dependent, children will have the opportunity to experience climbing ROKTFACE, the largest manmade climbing wall in the UK. Excellent for confidence boosting and immense fun. Our fabulous team of instructors can cater for group sessions or deliver one to one sessions.
For those wanting something other than climbing, we can offer fun team combat sessions in our bespoke Nerf arena ‘Hide & Shoot’. The centre also has four individual escape rooms where children from the ages of 8 upwards can test their problem solving skills in a fun and safe environment.

Testimonials
“The ROKT climbing centre is Outstanding!! From the minute we arrived we were impressed with the whole experience. The centre is spread out over several floors with many different rooms tailored for specific types of climbing needs. The training room is a great addition and helps build on physical ability and is much cheaper than a gym. The caving system is exceptional and the students and staff really enjoyed testing their ability."
Craig Fenton, PE Dept - Salendine Nook High School
"All our children, parents and staff had an absolutely brilliant time. They all took the challenge and excelled themselves on the climbing wall and boulders. Two dads said that they had always wanted to have a go but had never had the confidence to enter a climbing club establishment but now they hope to return.
The whole group really cared for each others children and were all very positive and encouraging with each other - shouting out positives and support, it was humbling to hear.
I feel the activities encouraged the team to be positive and this again encouraged them all to try and that it was ok if you made a mistake or did not get so high up the wall - it was all applauded."
Jill Hinchliffe - Birkby Infants
"The session which is provided helps young people to gain confidence and self esteem and this is something which Positive Futures is big on. I feel that the partnership with ROKT has been a great investment as we are able to provide something a bit different and unique as apposed to the regular Football, Street dance and Fitness sessions. The session also helps to promote fitness and is very good for encouraging both Male ands Female young people to be involved as apposed to just all Male or all Female sessions."
Dave Redshaw - Positive Futures
"Our sixth formers have been able to use their time at ROKT to build skills that will set them up for their future. The coaching received and subsequent qualifications they have gained will look great on their CVs. They have also been able to develop the soft skills needed to work towards a common goal, or climb, that has helped them on their developing roles within the college community."
