What we offer

All our work with schools enhances classroom learning and can become integral to the school curriculum.

Working closely with you, we can plan bespoke programmes that suit your needs, whether you are looking for one day of activities, a residential camp or a series of days throughout a term or during the different seasons.
We focus on team building, personal challenges and leadership through the themes of bushcraft, expedition skills and discovery about the outdoor environment.

What makes us a great choice?

We are based on a working organic farm next to pristine Chilterns woodland. We have access to the River Thames and the meadows on the Hardwick Estate.
Hardwick woods are predominantly beech woodlands but forty-two different tree species have been found. This is a good indicator as to the great age of the woodlands here.
The woods today are for the most part very carefully managed. At maturity beech trees are selectively felled out to make room for younger trees. The woods are also home to a huge number of flower, fungi, insect, mammal and other animal species.
