What we offer

Our residential activity centre, offering sole occupancy for your visit, stands in the heart of the historic fishing village of Brancaster Staithe, on the North Norfolk coast and is surrounded by beautiful countryside and coastline as well as a wealth of wildlife. You can step out of the door and enjoy the saltmarsh and sea and we are within walking distance of Brancaster beach.

We pride ourselves on experienced and qualified instructors, who are friendly and professional and will help to ensure that your students have a memorable trip and that you all get the most out of your stay. We are on-site from breakfast until after dinner and someone will be on call overnight in case of emergency.

We have water based activities such as kayaking, sailing, raft building as well as field studies, orienteering, cycling and many more. Our website details our activities and the curriculum links and learning outcomes. We will help your students build character and resilience as they learn about independent living and the skills needed for the future, whilst having lots of fun along the way.

All visitors will receive a welcome briefing and tour, as well as a fire drill practice on their first day.

Located 23 miles from King's Lynn and 40 miles from Norwich, our visitors usually travel to the Centre by coach direct from their school.

Many of our activities are available as day visits and we are also able to facilitate your access to coastal environments for field studies. Please contact us to check availability.

We work with you on your school curriculum needs and ask for your aims and learning outcomes prior to the visit, adapting each trip to individual schools.

Our children and staff have had a marvellous time with the National Trust at Brancaster. The Coastal Safari was a firm favourite. We were all impressed with the way the staff worked hard to ensure that we all had a happy, exciting and safe residential that provided a challenging and interesting learning opportunity to all.
