What we offer

Take a journey through more than 100 years of Oxford’s car building history and discover how we create over 1,000 one-of-a-kind MINI’s every day. Visit MINI’s production halls where human skill and state-of-the-art technology combine to build a new MINI every 67 seconds. See MINI’s Visitor Centre where 58 years of rich MINI heritage comes to life alongside the latest MINI models. Students will be guided through our body-in-white facility where steel parts are pieced together into a MINI shell. They will then follow the cars journey through our assembly facility, here a painted shell is transformed by our workforce into a finished MINI. Our expert tour guides will explain the processes and be able to answer your questions throughout the tour.

What makes us a great choice?

Situated on the outskirts of a city known for its academic talent, we give an insight to the other kind of brilliance that Oxford has to offer. MINI Plant Oxford is the heart and home of MINI, producing a thousand cars daily – making it an ideal destination for any young mind wanting to learn. Only through seeing it for yourself would you understand the incredible complexity of automotive production. Thousands of people work at our site, collaborating together to create the perfect MINI – whether they work on the production line itself, in logistics, finance or quality control. We are the perfect example of a multitude of talent working together and sharing ideas to keep the industry moving forward in new and interesting ways.
