What we offer on a school trip
Lee Valley VeloPark is an iconic venue from the London 2012 Olympic Games, groups can visit the venue for both our educational and sport programmes. Whether it’s taking part in our Regeneration in Action or looking at the iconic design of this world class space it’s bound to excite and motivate your students as they explore this world class venue and take in the spectacular velodrome.
Lee Valley VeloPark regeneration in action is perfect for KS3 & KS4 Geography where students can understand the importance and impact of regeneration of an urban space.
Our programme Lee Valley VeloPark iconic designs and world class spaces is aimed as KS3 Design and Technology students, they will observations and sketches about this innovative and functional space.
Of course, such avenue wouldn’t be complete without cycling. Combine your day with a cycling session for your students to learn new skills, they can tackle, track, road, mountain biking or BMXing – a perfect combination of education and sport.
We also have a host of other venues and activities nearby that we can cater for including guided walks and team building and outdoor learning programmes for KS1 & KS2.
