What is typically included?

Each visit is different so we run activities appropriate to each school group visiting. We will usually run activities in half day blocks. Within these activities there is scope to include topics from geography, science, maths, natural history, local history, map reading, art and drama. A high proportion of our instructors are qualified teachers.

Materials, Resources & Information Provided

We provide appropriate resources for projects to enhance and facilitate learning for particular projects. Mostly we like to use the outdoors and the activities to reinforce learning which takes place in the classroom and other places which children go.

Photography, Filming & Audio Restrictions

We do not object to children taking photos but ask that this is done sensitively and in such a way as to not cause offence. We do provide photos for most of our groups if they are happy for us to do this.

Risk Assessment Details

Bookings usually follow and initial enquiry with completion of a booking form by the lead organizer and payment of a deposit of around 25%. We then work with the school to tailor the planned activities to suit the groups. We supply risk assessments and copies of all insurances on request. We are registered with Lancashire Count Council to provide activities for Lancashire schools.

Your school will be able to deal with one member of staff when organizing your visit.
