The Animal Roadshow's unique service consists of exciting, hands-on educational sessions (presentations and workshops) involving a wide variety of living specimens of different species, all of which are friendly, tame, handleable and entirely trustworthy. We have available to us numerous animals of many species, and this allows us to offer a wide range of subjects, topics and themes. All sessions are delivered by a qualified, professional educator and zoologist who has full DBS clearance.
We create presentations to meet SATs requirements.
Our animals are bred in captivity and cared for to the highest standards of welfare, placing the animals? needs above those of the business.
Many of our animals can be seen on TV programmes (we?ve worked with CountryFile, Steve Backshall, SpringWatch etc.) and in films (we supplied some of the owls sued in the Harry Potter films)
What makes us a great choice?
All sessions are delivered by a highly experienced and qualified educator and zoologist.
The educational content of every session is sound and accurate, and is always at the correct level for the audience. Teachers will receive planning notes, worksheets, risk assessments, and all other relevant information prior to our visit.
All our presentations/workshops feature a range of live animals, are supported by a professional quality PowerPoint presentation, and are designed for the level of students in each class. Worksheets to support the visit are also included.
Anywhere in UK, but travel costs may be added to fees.
Prefer East Midlands, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Greater Manchester, Leicestershire, Staffordshire, Northamptonshire, Merseyside
Group Sizes Catered For
Smaller classes are always better than larger ones, and we recommend a maximum of 30-35 children/students per session if animal handling is to be offered. Where a simple lecture-style presentation is required, we can accommodate larger numbers; please feel free to discuss this aspect with us.

Just wanted to say a huge thanks for the session on Friday morning. The children and staff thoroughly enjoyed themselves and it provided a brilliant stimulus for discussion.
