What makes us a great choice?

Herbert Woods is a long established boatyard dating back nearly 90 years.

We are based on the Northern part of the Broads on the river Thurne; the Broads are 125 miles of manmade waterways stretching over 2 counties.

We have long established relationships with educational groups such as schools, scouts and church groups, who hire multiple cruisers. Our largest school group exceeds 80 students who visit us annually.

What is typically included?

Each trip can be tailored to the needs of the group. Possible curriculum topics may include history, geography, wildlife and conservation, water sports, life skills.
