What we offer
We offer education sessions to groups from EYFS to degree level, including special needs groups, home education groups and childrens clubs throughout the holidays.
If for any reason you cannot make it to the zoo we have an outreach team that can come and visit your school with some very special visitors including reptiles, small mammals and invertebrates.
Most sessions at the zoo last up to 1 hour and take place in our purpose built classrooms around the site. All of our sessions are linked to the National Curriculum.
What makes us a great choice?
Dartmoor Zoo is a Zoo know worldwide after its incredible story about beating all the odds was made into the Hollywood movie ‘We Bought a Zoo.’ Our owner Benjamin Mee has continued to push the zoo forward and we now house the South West’s biggest collection of Big Cats.
