Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre hosts National teams for training and runs National Governing Body courses both training and assessment. It is also hosts and is available for regional and national events meetings and conferences and has residential clubs on its site. Please contact the centre for further information.

Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre is a stunning watersports and visitor centre located in the heart of Crosby Coastal Park, Waterloo. Forming part of the gateway to the Mersey Estuary, sitting alongside the internationally renowned Antony Gormley's Another Place, Iron Men statues this really is an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Risk Assessment Details
Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre is subject to regular inspection by the Adventure Activities Licensing Service (AALS) and our operating license number is L8637\R1853. All activities are risk assessed and reviewed regularly. All staff are enhanced CRB checked and appropriately qualified for the activities they run.
Education Officer Information
Mike Wardle is the Development Manager for Water Sports and adventure activities and is responsible for education. The centre also has an Inclusion Officer Kevin Leavitt responsible for adapting programmes and equipment for disability use. Contact 0151 966 6860 or email
Prices start at £35 per person for full board with activities starting from £90 for two hours for a group of 10.
All personnel and protective equipment is provided as part of the cost. Participants need to bring suitable footwear towel change of clothes and warm clothing.
First Aid Information
All staff and instructors are first aid qualified. The Centre also has a defibrillator which staff are trained to use.
Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre has a Bistro galley cafe and vending machines for drinks and snacks. Packed lunches can also be provided.
Accessibility & Disabled Facilities
Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre is a purpose built disability outdoor activity centre. All equipment and programmes are fully inclusive and adapted to deal with a wide range of disability needs from mild through to severe. Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre has a full time inclusion officer who can discuss specific needs pre visit and staff who are experienced working with groups with disability.
All toilets and changing facilities are disability friendly the centre has a track hoist mobile hoist and jetty based hoist. The building has been designed for wheelchair access and the fitness suite is IFI
(Inclusiveness Fitness Initiative) accredited.
