What we offer

Caerhafod Lodge is a Visit Wales graded 4 Star Hostel, situated within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The location is rural as Caerhafod is a small holding, we still have a small herd of suckler cows. It has a breathtaking 180 degree view of the coastline from Strumble Head - the North Bishop Island. It makes an ideal base for all kinds of activities.

Caerhafod Lodge has 5 en-suite rooms, a fully equipped self-catering kitchen diner and a sitting room with both comfortable chairs for relaxing, and tables for writing etc, ideal for lectures, seminars and tutorials. There's also an additional toilet and shower area attached to this room. We also have a laundry/drying room with washing machine. We don?t have CCTV, but as I live on site I?m available most of the time for help and advice.

What makes us a great choice?

There are many attractions in the area - St Davids Cathedral and Bishops palace, numerous castles including Pembroke Castle, the birthplace of Henry IIV, and Castell Henllys iron age fort, to name but a few. From St Davids you can book Boat trips around Ramsey Island Bird reserve, fishing trips, or to Grassholm with 39,000 pairs of breeding gannets, the third largest Atlantic gannet colony in the UK (behind St Kilda and Bass Rock) Adventure days-Coasteering, surfing, Sea kayaking or climbing are also available, with numerous professional outdoor pursuit companies operating in the area. Ideal for team building etc. The geology of the area is of great interest, Abereiddy beach is only 2 miles.
