What we offer

Brooklands Museum, Weybridge, Surrey. The Birthplace of British Motorsport and Aviation, Home of Concorde.

Brooklands Museum is a thriving 32-acre site steeped in history and linked to world-famous achievements. Collections of historic cars, aircraft, motorcycles, bicycles and other historic artifacts tell stories that will fascinate and inspire. From its creation in 1907, through two World Wars and for most of the Twentieth Century, Brooklands was a centre for breaking speed records, motor racing, advances in science and technology and where thousands of aircraft were built, tested and flown.

Now, through a year-round program of meticulously planned activities and workshops, pupils can explore this world whilst simultaneously augmenting their studies in Mathematics, the Sciences, History, Geography, English, Design and Media.

We also offer themed loans boxes to schools for a £10 deposit. These can be borrowed for two weeks at time from Saturday to Saturday, and include topics such as Going on a Journey, History of Transport and Toys. For more information or to reserve a loans box please contact Virginia Smith, email  phone 01932857381 ext 248
