TCA is a designated Bouldering centre. Bouldering is a branch of rock climbing that's performed at a low level with crash pads set underneath.

What we offer

TCA gives people the chance to try something unique in a vibrant, fun and sociable. Bouldering is easy to get into and children of all ages can give it a go. The sport encourages groups to solve a series of problems to climb to the top of the route making it extremely engaging as well as both physically and mentally challenging.

What is typically included?

Educational visits at TCA are designed to teach students the basics of climbing technique and safety. An instructor will show students a variety of easy tips to move on walls efficiently as well as help them solve problems and understand holds in order to complete routes. We offer students plenty of time on the wall making it a very hands-on learning experience.

Group Sizes Catered For

We can take groups up to 30, we work with them with 1 instructor to 10 students.

Photography, Filming & Audio Restrictions

we're happy for students to take photos and videos at TCA but phones and video devices aren?t allowed on the safety mats during climbing.

Risk Assessment Details

Clothing Requirements

Loose fitted clothing (such as jogging bottoms, shorts and t-shirts). Climbing shoes are provided.

Available Facilities

TCA has a cafe area which serves a variety of hot and cold snacks (including sandwiches), soft drinks and smoothies. There's a cafe seating area where children are free to eat their own packed lunch.

Accessibility & Disabled Facilities

The centre is spread out on one floor and is easy to access. We want climbing to be as inclusive as possible and encourage individuals of all abilities to give it a go. Please let the centre know of any disabilities when inquiring to book.

Weekdays 10am-10pm. Weekends 9am-6pm.
