What we offer
The centre aims to provide young people / pupils with the knowledge, skills and experience to be confident in the water environment, by providing challenge by choice.
Our instructors will facilitate your school pupils and educational group learning and development especially in areas of self-confidence and reliance through experiential learning on the water.
Whether you are looking for dinghy sailing, windsurfing, paddling or a multi activity, team building day, Alton Water Sports Centre can put a program together to ensure your school trip is safe, exciting, educational and above all fun.
Alton Water Sports Centre is an RYA and AALA approved teaching establishment, based on Suffolk's largest area of inland water, with a strong focus on offering healthy outdoor sports for children and young adults in a safe open water environment.

We can cater to groups up to about 72

Not as such but would look to talk with the teachers if there was any areas that they wished us to work on.
Photography, Filming & Audio Restrictions
No, we have to talk with the teacher about this and then one of our qualified people would do it and then present it to the teacher.
Risk Assessment Details
Yes we can provide any risk assessments or procedures that they require.
Education Officer Information
We have no one that has that role but if they have any problems then our Principal will be on hand to answer them.
We work on whether the group would like half or full day. The cost is £15 per person for a half day or £30 for a full day. This is with a 10-1 and then 1.30-4.30 sessions.

First Aid Information
No, all of our staff are first aid trained and we have an area on site to cope with any problems.
We have changing facility and then we can give the school their own classroom to store equipment and have their packed lunch if the weather is not very good.
Accessibility & Disabled Facilities
We have a couple of disabled groups use our facility and they have not raised any problems at the moments.
