What we offer
We offer rowing, sailing, canoeing, raft building, powerboating and soon to be paddleboarding! No matter what your circumstance may be we aim to remove any barriers which may traditionally prevent you from accessing watersports (i.e. Financial, social, physical barriers, or barriers due to ethic minority group, social-economic status, social or disengaged background, mental health or medical conditions.)
If you have students with SEN needs we have specialist equipment and trained volunteers
What makes us a great choice?
We will tailor the session to your needs we can offer multisport sessions or singe sport sessions. If you wish can get the children started on the RYA Youth Stages for sailing.
If you have a student with SEN we can organize for them to be included in the session but simply using the adapted boats and organizing trained volunteering to give 1-1 support.
We offer powerboat trips up the river where you can learn the history of the harbor.

Photography, Filming & Audio Restrictions
Yes, only restrictions are taking photos of other center users without their permission.
Risk Assessment Details
We have a risk assessment we can send you. You can meet with us to see the center and the boats used if you wish.
We offer £90 for a 2.5 hour session (including getting ready) per instructor. The student : instructor ratio is:
Sailing - 6:1
Rowing - 6:1
Canoeing/Kayaking - 8:1
Powerboating - 12:1 (Aiming High - large boat) or 6:1 (Pioneer - smaller boat)
N.B. the numbers for powerboating may reduce if wheelchair users are attending.
We cannot offer discounts to everyone, though we may consider certain cases.
Shoes that can get wet, clothes which are light and fast to dry.
We have buoyancy aids, wetsuits, and spray tops and trousers students can borrow.
It is best if they bring a change of clothes incase they get wet.

All staff,instructors and volunteers are first aid trained.
Room to eat packed lunch.
Kitchen to make drinks.
Local shop nearby.
Advised not to allow children to bring money.
Accessibility & Disabled Facilities
Lift, hoist, ramps, disabled toilet, disable shower with shower chair and shower bed. We have accessible information sheets, low-tech communication aids and visual timetables.
