Our visitors love the fact that the Cotswold Farm Park is part of a real working farm.
We offer relevant and tailored learning packages across all the key stages. We have a really knowledgeable, enthusiastic team and we offer up information in the same way that people learn from Adam when he's presenting Countryfile.

What is typically included on our school trips?

Teachers can pre-book from a range of activities and seasonal farming demonstrations, as listed above, including tours of Adam Henson's farm. Please feel free to contact us with any special requirements, as we're happy to tailor-make your school's trip.

Group Sizes Catered For

We can accommodate up to 150 people in a group, but will usually divide into smaller groups of 30 to deliver demonstrations and activities.

Materials, Resources & Information Provided

We provide curriculum linked activities for key stages 1 and 2, developed in-house. We provide activity sheets for the session and on the back are follow-up classroom activities. Our team of managers are experts in farming and we use external consultants where relevant. We can provide any information before the visit, on request.

Pricing Information

Group rates apply and include one free adult per every five paying children. Group rates apply to 20 admissions or more paying in one transaction. Please check the website for current prices.

Clothing Requirements

No, but we are a farm/predominantly outdoor attraction so suggest weather appropriate clothing.

First Aid Information

Yes, all our duty managers are first aid trained, but it is advisable for school groups to also include a qualified first aider.

Available Facilities

Shop - including a good range of pocket-money gifts.
Adam's Kitchen and the Old Spot cafe offer hot and cold meals, sandwiches, home-made cakes and children's lunchboxes. We have open-air and under-cover areas to eat packed lunches, but it's always best to advise of your requirements before arrival.

Accessibility & Disabled Facilities

Yes, we regularly welcome disabled visitors.

Access to Adam's Kitchen, Shop, Old Spot Snack Bar, Touch Barn, Demonstration Barn and Stables Snack Bar is by concrete paths with wide aisles.

A solid concrete path leads from the main entrance up to the Touch Barn, Adventure Play Area and on down to the Jumping Pillows and Maze. From here, access continues on to the Rare Breeds through History trail, Woodland Adventure, Hex Swings and Big Dig Sandpit, which is on mown grass but can be a little uneven in places.

Disabled toilets are situated behind the cafe and within the park in the Maze field?.

The Farm Safari tractor and trailer has recently been upgraded to include wheelchair access on every ride.
