What we offer on a school trip
On Ufton History School Trips, children are immersed in the past. Whether exploring the Grade 1 Tudor Manor House, flogging Boudicca in the Roundhouse, or curing a cursed field as a Saxon, all our activities use the unique resources at our disposal to inspire and engage your group.
Our 40-acre site in Berkshire includes an ancient woodland, a Viking long ship, historical settlements, medieval ponds, and a Tudor Manor House complete with secret priest holes.
We have a wide range of curriculum linked programmes for your class at both KS1 and KS2 level. Each historical programme follows its own story line – perhaps your children will become part of the Saxon Readingas settlers or a Tudor Petty Constable investigating strange goings on at the alleged Catholic Manor.
We are located between junction 11 & 12 on the M4 and less than 30 minutes from junction 6 on the M3.
