What makes us a great choice for education?

As well as a great recreational day out, We are able to offer larger groups a Water Safety talk as well as introducing them to the roles of a lifeguard. We are able to provide a demonstration on how to perform CPR. A visit to Waterworld increases the engagement of all pupils in physical activity. It will help Increase confidence, knowledge and skills of staying safe in different types of waters, from a wave pool, plunge tank, water rapids and bubble pools as well as calmer waters. 

We are also able to host talks for Leisure and Tourism students and can tailor these talks depending on what it is you need to discuss. 

What is typically included on our school trips?

Our Water Safety talk, Role of a Lifeguard and CPR demonstrations fits in nicely with swimming and the national curriculum for Key Stage 1 and 2 students. At the end of one of our group Water safety talks, each pupil will receive a certificate demonstrating that they have received a water safety talk and CPR demonstration hosted by a senior lifeguard, trained by the Royal Life Saving Society. 

We are also able to host talks for Leisure and Tourism students and can tailor these talks depending on what it is you need to discuss. 

Group Sizes Catered For

The minimum group size to qualify for group discount is 15. To qualify for the free water safety talk, groups must consist of 25 guests.

Photography, Filming & Audio Restrictions

Groups are permitted to take photographs and film demonstrations during the water safety talk. However, no photography is allowed once on the poolside.

Pricing Information

For groups of 15 or more, the price is £14.75 per person. Groups of 25 or more are eligible for the Water Safety Talk. Teachers go free at a ratio of 1 free teacher per every 10 students.

Clothing Requirements

Swim wear only.

First Aid Information

All lifeguards on site are trained in first aid. All lifeguards on site hold their National Pool Lifeguard qualification.
