What we offer on a school trip
We provide DBS checked artists, who travel to and deliver these workshop activities at your school venue. Our arts and educational arts workshops have been utilized by schools to assist with literacy, enhance the music or art curriculums and revise for exams. They are also used for ‘after school activities’ and to embody Black History month and teach aspects of citizenship and even anti-bullying.
Our workshops are bespoke and so can be made suitable for all ages (Key stages) and abilities.
The types of workshops we offer include the popular urban arts. That includes graffiti art, rapping workshops, DJ skills and break or street dance. We also provide cultural arts workshops such as Japanese origami, Chinese dance, African mask making and African drumming. Also, other arts workshops such as crafts of all kinds including ‘recycled crafts’, drama, art of all kinds and fashion.
The above workshops can be booked for 1 to 2hrs. Many schools book for full days and have 4 x 1hr, 3 x 1 ½ hr or 2 x 2hr workshops with different classes in the day. This works out more cost effective than booking individual workshops.
Nugent Education also offer more comprehensive ongoing courses in music production, mural art and film production. These take 4 to 6 x 2hr sessions and lead to a completed mural, film or piece of music on a compilation download.
We are a provider you can trust to provide reliable artists who will educate, entertain and engage your schools’ children with our workshops. Our website is full of recent and positive feedback.
