Arts On The Move Drama Workshops North West
MONTHS OPENJanuary, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December
What are our school workshops like?
Arts On The Move will arrive at your school with all the resources and equipment needed to work with the children. A large space – preferably the school hall – is best for delivering a workshop, but not always essential. Drama workshops offered include:
WW2 (Home Front/Evacuees) for KS2/KS3;
The Pied Piper of Hamelin (a journey through the story) for KS2;
WW1 Poetry Into Performance for KS2/KS3;
An Introduction to Hamlet (language, characters and story) for KS2/KS3;
Macbeth Murder Investigation (Who Killed Banquo?) for KS2/KS3
Romeo & Juliet (the language of love and conflict) for KS2/KS3.
For a great taster day try the Whole School Drama Day where individual classes from Y1-Y6 each get a short drama workshop. This is a fabulous day which can be used to springboard other drama work – or just for fun!
Other workshops are available for KS1 children and brand new workshops can be devised and delivered to meet your specific curriculum or creative needs.
