What is typically included on our school trips?
Education trips to the British Music Experience include full access to the galleries, learning zones, instrument studio and dance area as well as a tour of the gallery led by our Education Officer. Education groups can also book onto one of our innovative and exciting workshops, catering from key stage 1 right up to sixth form level.

Come and join our rhythm and beats band. Learn the basic of rhythm and beats this workshop illustrates how popular music throughout the decades up until the present day primarily follows the 4/4 beat. Get hands on in this interactive workshop where participants get to play instruments and have a sing along.

In this highly interactive, lively and energetic workshop students will explore how music is used in films to convey mood and emotion.
Students will get the chance compose their own scores set to a variety of genres, focussing on tone and rhythm.
Skiffle Along
KS1/2 and SEND
Come and join our Skiffle band, get hands on in this sensory and interactive workshop where participants get to play instruments, have a sing along session and learn about the history of Skiffle music.
