Located halfway between London and the south coast, Broadstone Warren is the perfect residential school trip for any students looking for tourist attractions. It is also based in the heart of Ashdown Forest, making it ideal for any geography school trips.
Broadstone Warren has 3 main accommodation blocks for customers.
Broadstone Lodge is our largest residential block and can sleep 38 in a mixture of 2, 4, and 6 person bunk rooms. Each floor has their own toilets and showers, with additional accessible facilities on the ground floor. It has a fully equipped commercial kitchen with all crockery, cutlery, pots and pans included and a large hall for dining and recreation. The building opens out onto a large grassed area to the front and a private car park to the rear. The building has Wi-Fi for leaders.
Warren Lodge is smallest of the 3 main accommodation blocks. It can sleep 18 in a mixture of 2 and 4 person bunk rooms. It has toilets on the ground floor and Toilets and showers on the 1st floor. It has a fully equipped kitchen with crockery, cutlery, pots and pans included and a good hall for dining and recreation. The building opens out onto a large grassed area to the front and a private car park to the rear. The building has Wi-Fi for leaders.
These 2 lodges are separated by a very large hall (can seat up to 75), suitable for meetings and events. This is sometimes booked when groups use both the lodges.
The Log cabin is the medium building which sleeps up to 25 and by its name is for those groups who want a more rustic experience. It contains a main bunk room which sleeps 17 and doubles as the dining area and has a wood burning stove. Two further rooms at the rear sleep 4 in each in bunk beds. It has a fully equipped kitchen with all crockery, cutlery, pots and pans included. Toilets and showers are within 20 meters of this building.
For groups wishing to camp, we have pitches enough to cater for up to 1500 people per night which is supported by our 3 toilet and shower blocks with accessible facilities.
For groups without their own camping equipment, we have an equipped camping site where the tents are already put up for you (available from May – September). This site offers camping for 40 people in mixture of traditional Scout Tents with built floors and modern trail tents. The site also has a large Marquee with a 6 burner gas range oven, electrical generator, Picnic benches, pots and pans. A large camp fire circle with benches makes this an idyllic camping venue.

We can also offer advice about where to go and what to see around and about should you wish to venture away from the site.
Broadstone Warren has numerous activities for your group try whilst visiting. Instructed, self-managed and a large amount of free activities are all available. So if you fancy Abseiling to Zip wires, and many other activities in between, we have got it covered. We have a Field Study Centre for environmental studies, conservation projects and map work for those doing DofE expeditions.
Broadstone Warren has excellent communication links. We are located on the A22 between Forest Row and Wych Cross. A local regular bus service can be accessed within 100 meters of the site. The nearest train station is East Grinstead which is 6 miles away.
